Fundraising for a very special cause in July – Beanies for Brain Cancer

By Therese Bolin

Earlier this year, our dear friend and colleague Kevin Hinder passed away after a battle with brain cancer. Kevin was a much-loved member of our team for close to a decade, a loving husband and father of three.

Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease, and kills more people under 40 in Australia than any other cancer – yet it receives less than 5% of government cancer research funding.

In memory of Kevin, and all those in our local community who have been affected by this cancer, during July Ray White Upper North Shore will be fundraising for The Mark Hughes Foundation 2020 Beanie for Brain Cancer campaign.

We’ve made a donation to the MHF and purchased Beanies for the entire Ray White Upper North Shore team. You may spot us wearing them at open homes and auctions throughout July!

How can you help? You can donate to our Everyday Hero campaign throughout July. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for The Mark Hughes Foundation to help raise much-needed funds to fund brain cancer research, heighten awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families within the community.

Please help us help the MHF by giving whatever you can by clicking on the following link – Ray White Upper North Shore Beanies for Kevin

Please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
