Meet the team – Felicity Gooley

By Therese Bolin

Felicity Gooley is our fantastic St Ives Office Administrator and proud St Ives local.

Why did you get into real estate?

After leaving the corporate world to be a stay at home mum, an opportunity came up in 2016 to work with James Levy. I’ve always had an interest in Real Estate and I love looking at different homes and getting ideas. Having grown up in the area, I love assisting and passing on my knowledge to new and existing community members.

What is your favourite part of the job?

Besides being walking distance to work, the people! I enjoy the interaction with clients, the excitement during an auction and the sense of achievement when we match a purchaser and a vendor.

Any funny/strange open home stories?

We did once have someone take home the wrong pair of shoes at an open home. Not sure how they managed that, perhaps they just preferred that pair!

Any particular sale that stands out to you?

When I encouraged a close family friend to sell her beautiful home in St Ives through James. She did everything James asked of her and to see the smile on her face after a really successful outcome gave me a great sense of satisfaction.

Favourite local coffee?

Stanley Street Café, just around the corner from the office too!

What are your favourite things about the local area?

The strong sense of community, the open spaces, national parks and the proximity to different shopping malls and the beaches.
