Upper North Shore Market Update

By Therese Bolin

The latest on the Upper North Shore property market with our Directors Greg Windel and David Walker.

Key Points –

  • There are positive signs for the market with the easing of restrictions, open homes re-established, and on-site auctions recommencing
  • April numbers on the Upper North Shore were strong; stock levels are down 60% from the same period last year which is driving competition and buyer demand
  • Properties listed and sold by our team during April had an average of 10 days on the market, much lower than the average we’ve seen so far in 2020
  • Now could be a good time to capitalise as buyer demand remains high and prices remain steady
  • Locally, we are seeing positive signs for the market in the short and medium-term
