Proudly Sponsoring Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival – Sunday 25th October 2026

By Laura Essert

The much-loved Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival will celebrate its 12th year when it returns to the beautiful surrounds of Wahroonga Park on Sunday 25 October 2026, from 11.00am to 5.00pm.

One of Sydney’s Upper North Shore’s most anticipated spring events, the free festival will once again bring together an outstanding selection of NSW wine, boutique spirits, craft beer, gourmet food, artisan produce and live entertainment for a relaxed day in the park.

More than 30 renowned NSW wineries will present over 130 premium and award-winning wines, including sparkling, white, rosé and red varieties. Festival visitors will have the opportunity to meet winemakers and cellar-door representatives, discover emerging producers and purchase their favourite wines directly from the people who make them.

The 2026 winery line-up includes respected producers from across the state’s leading wine regions, including the Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Orange, the Central Ranges and the Southern Highlands.

Festival Producer Margot Natoli said the event had developed into a cherished annual celebration of NSW producers and the local Wahroonga community.

“For 12 years, the Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival has brought people together to enjoy exceptional NSW wine, delicious food and live music in one of Sydney’s most beautiful public parks,” Margot Natoli said.

“The festival gives visitors the opportunity to meet the people behind the labels, discover new wines and artisan products, and enjoy a free entry welcoming community day with family and friends.”

Alongside the wineries, visitors can explore a collection of small-batch distillers presenting handcrafted Australian spirits, while Sydney Brewery and Six Strings Brewing Co. will serve a carefully selected range of refreshing craft beers and ales.

The festival’s gourmet food program will offer a diverse range of international cuisines and contemporary festival favourites.

Visitors can enjoy fresh Sydney Rock oysters, slow cooked BBQ, Greek souvla, Japanese dishes, Spanish paella, Wagyu specialties, Vietnamese flavours, Portuguese pastries, handmade crepes, honey balls, gelato and indulgent desserts. Vegetarian and vegan choices will also be available throughout the festival.

The popular Artisan Producer Alley will showcase specialty food producers, makers and market stallholders offering gourmet condiments, handcrafted products, local produce, homewares and gifts.

Live Music in the Park

A full program of live music will provide the soundtrack to the day from Wahroonga Park’s iconic rotunda stage.

Local musicians, contemporary performers and school ensembles will entertain festival visitors with a lively mix of jazz, acoustic music and popular favourites.

The festival is a relaxed, family-friendly community event welcoming visitors of all ages. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.

Entry to the Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival is free with optional Wine Tasting Packages available. Visitors wishing to participate in wine tastings can pre-purchase a festival tasting package from $39.50, including a festival branded wine glass and five tasting tickets.

Pre-purchased packages can be collected through the Express Pick-Up area at the centrally located Tasting Ticket Marquee on event day. Tasting packages will also be available for purchase at the festival.
