Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival Celebrates It’s 10th Anniversary! Sydney’s Upper North Shore Premier Culinary Festival Returns to Wahroonga Park!

The beloved Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival is turning 10, and we’re pulling out all the stops to make this year’s event more delicious and exciting than ever before. On Sunday 27 October 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM, Wahroonga Park will be transformed into a foodie’s paradise, complete with premium wines, gourmet bites, and unforgettable entertainment—all in the stunning setting of one of Sydney’s most picturesque parks.
And the best part? It’s free for everyone to attend!

A Taste Sensation: Wine, Spirits, Beers, Food, and More!

This year’s festival promises a culinary journey like no other, with over 130 wines from 30 top
wineries across NSW and Australia. Sip, savour, and chat with winemakers as you explore an
incredible selection of award-winning varietals. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just
love a good drop, there’s something for every palate. But the wine is just the beginning! Feast on
delicious dishes from gourmet food stalls, offering everything from Sydney Rocks
oysters and Japanese Aburi Grill to signature cocktails and craft beers. Plus, indulge in small-
batch spirits from local distillers like SoHi Spirits, Buffalo Vale Distillery, and Distillery Botanica,
perfect for those who enjoy premium gin, vodka, and more.

  • Wine Wonderland: Meet the faces behind your favourite labels, with featured wineries like Savannah Estate, Petersons Wines, Bonvilla Estate, Horner Wines, Elephant Mountain Wines, Das Juice, Wild Ren Wines and Pepper Tree Wines, among many others.
  • Gourmet Bites: Dig into mouth-watering eats like Piggy & Moo’s Fried Chicken and Pork Belly Burgers, Berlin Bangers, Smokin Sue’s BBQ, Veg For Love, Satay Brothers, Sofrito Paella, and Asian Dumplings. Don’t forget to save room for something sweet—choose from OMG Donuts, Portuguese Tarts, and Chillato Gelato for dessert!
  • Small Batch Distillers: Take a sip of something special with craft spirits from Hickson House Gin, Buffalo Vale Distillers, SoHi Spirits, Finders Distillery, and Small Mouth Vodka. These local favourites are making waves with their unique, handcrafted spirits.

Entertainment for All Ages

It’s not just about the food and wine—the festival is free family-friendly, and even your furry friends on a leash are welcome! Settle in for a day of live music on the Wahroonga Park Rotunda stage, featuring more than 250 young and talented performers. These acts from local schools like West Pymble Public, Wahroonga Public School, Turramurra High School, Warrawee Public School, St Ives Park & Terry Hills Concert Band and St Ives Primary School, as well as Sussudio Big Band and Harmonix Big Bands, the entertainment will keep the whole family dancing.

The festival is free to attend, but for the wine lovers out there, wine-tasting ticket packages are available for purchase. Grab a souvenir festival wine glass and tasting tickets at the Tasting Ticket Marquee on the day or beat the lines by purchasing your pre-sale package online.
